It’s going to be a busy month for Christmas cookie baking and I thought it would be helpful to collect some of my favorite Christmas cookie recipes in one place. Favorite cookies holiday cheer one list. A wide variety of cookies are included here. Classic shortbread is my favorite but decorating simple sugar cookies (pictured above) with icing never gets old. These gingerbread cookies are an annual event here and I get emails every year from people who love the triple gingerbread cookies. And Swedish rye cookies really add to the winter spirit. You can stamp them into any shape you like and if you can’t find rye flour you can substitute whole wheat pastry flour. Enjoy and happy holidays everyone!
