How to fix a black screen after preparing for automatic repair?

Method 1: Boot into Safe Mode
1. Restart your PC and continuously press the F8 key (or Shift F8) during startup.
2. Select “Troubleshoot” “Advanced Options” “Startup Settings”.
3. Choose “Enable Safe Mode with Networking”.
4. Once in Safe Mode, perform a system diagnosis using Windows tools such as System File Checker.
5. Repair all identified errors and restart your system to see if the problem is resolved.

Method 2: Repair MBR and Rebuild BCD
1. Boot from Windows installation media and click “Repair your computer”.
2. Go to “Troubleshooting”, “Advanced Options”, “Command Prompt”.
3. In the command prompt, type the following commands one after the other: bootrec /fixmbr, bootrec /fixboot, and bootrec /rebuildbcd.
