Raise your hand if "losing weight" has been on your New Year's resolutions list for as long as you make New Year's resolutions. *raises both hands*

The thing about this all-too-recognizable resolution is that it’s not very specific — or very easy for that matter. It requires actions to lose weight and those actions are often more complicated than “eat less and exercise more” despite what “experts” would have you believe.

Sure if you eat more calories (or burn too few) than your body needs you will gain weight over time. And if you eat fewer calories than your body needs (or burn more) you will lose weight. Seems like simple math right?
