5 Tips for Staying Cool While Working Outside in Hot Weather!
Hello everyone, here is a basic but not exhaustive list of 5 basic things to keep you cool in the woods! I train in the woods every time I get a second rain/sun/snow, but in the summer it's extremely important to follow these steps to stay cool and safe!

TIP 1: Drink water 24 hours before. It will take about 24 hours for your body to “absorb” enough water to function properly. This is your starting point. You also need to hydrate during and after!

TIP 2: Work outside EARLY before the sun rises over the trees and the temperature rises.

TIP 3: Wear sunscreen/moist neck gaiters! Wet gator and sunscreen will make all the difference!

TIP 4: Leave the shirt on! Wear a UV style shirt with light colors to reflect the sun! No cotton! Cotton doesn't breathe and will retain all that moisture!

TIP 5: Take lots of breaks/go to the shade from time to time! It's not a race to the finish, so take plenty of breaks to stay safe
