10 of the Best Christmas Cookies! ALL the cookies you should make this year!
Growing up I loved Christmas! For obvious reasons (yes the presents!) but I also always enjoyed putting out cookies for Santa. We usually had two traditions in my house Chocolate Chip Cookies and a tin of Royal Dansk Danish Butter Cookies.
We baked some Chocolate Chip Cookies (as a snack) and left a cookie and a glass of milk out for Santa and his reindeer. To be honest as an adult I’m surprised my parents made me leave a glass of milk by the tree all night but no matter. So I carefully chose a cookie or two from the Danish butter cookie tin to leave out as well as an extra special treat (I think it was my attempt to get more presents).
As an adult my love for cookies during the holidays has not waned. The tradition of chocolate chip cookies sometimes lives on as classic cookies but when I’m feeling fancy I like to make a batch of brown butter chocolate chip cookies.
