One of the things that has really spoiled me over the years is having multiple monitors to work on with my computers. This gives me a lot more real estate and space to work without requiring me to lug around a huge laptop with me. KYY just sent me its 15.6-inch full HD 1080p monitor, which I was able to plug in and connect to my Republic of Gamer's laptop to have a fourth screen! Let's take a look at some of the features of this very reasonably priced 1080p Full HD portable monitor, read under 90, because KYY NAILS IT!

Inside the box you will receive the monitor itself, a stand that doubles as a protector for the screen itself, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-A to USB-A cable and finally a mini HDMI to HDMI cable. . Depending on your computer, you may be able to connect it to the USB-C input only. It all depends on the current output of the connector you are connecting to. If you're having issues with the screen not connecting, displaying, or turning on, definitely use the secondary USB-C connection for external power.

It is very similar to other monitors in this class where it uses an IPS screen. Colors are a bit washed out, but it has an HDR mode. I think this results in better, more natural colors, but they are still soft. It also has built-in speakers, so you can use those on the screen or those on your computer. I would recommend using the ones on your computer unless they are totally shot, as they are quite hollow, but they are functional.

This is a pretty basic portable monitor, but what it does is pretty decent for the money. It doesn't have a touchscreen and it's not 4K, but it's also below 100. The value is there. While I appreciate the included screen protector and folio-style stand, I'd much rather have a more traditional stand. I'll probably 3D print something. It also doesn't have VESA mounting holes on the back.

One of the best things about monitors like this is the fact that you can connect your Nintendo Switch directly to it without a separate dock. Again, you may need to use an external power supply on the monitor, but it works. This allows you to have the added benefit of gaming on a larger screen without having to lug around something huge.
