I'm Heidi – This site celebrates cooking and aims to help you incorporate the power of lots of vegetables and whole foods into your daily meals. The recipes you'll find here are vegetarian often vegan and written with the home cook in mind. This site has been my online "home base" for almost twenty years. This is a saag paneer that uses a truckload of spinach gets a kick from buttermilk and a finishing squeeze of fresh lemon magic from a whole bunch of spices and a little heat from ginger and chilli flakes. I throw in a bit of crunch and contrasting texture where I can – breadcrumbs of toasted sesame seeds and add a touch of decadence with a drizzle of cream (you can use yoghurt-based buttermilk or cashew cream if you prefer).
