Other things to try:
Launch Activity Monitor from Applications – Utilities on your Mac. View all running processes and force close all Adobe processes, especially Genuine Adobe instances.
Go to /Library/LaunchAgents and search for com.adobe.GC.Invoker-1.0.plist although the version may change after reading this. Throw anything away with Adobe.
Go to /Library/Application Support/Adobe and delete the AdobeGCClient director.
