#gamingpc #pcbuild #howto – Airflow, one of the most discussed topics in the PC DIY space. What is the ideal cooling configuration for my PC? Should I use an air cooler or liquid AIO? What is the difference between the cases? Let's start with the basics and work our way up!

Timecodes, although I don't recommend skipping them for visual storytelling reasons!

In this video, I look back on nearly two years of airflow visualizations from previous releases and examine how air interacts with different configurations.

When it comes to cooling a gaming PC, there are many ways to do it efficiently, but I wanted to give you the basics to understand the fundamentals of moving air inside several different cases and the associated fans that accompany them.

Of course, there are other things we could have covered here, like the pull/push radiator layout, full custom loops, and not forgetting the open chassis enclosures. This may all appear in a future video for a more "advanced" informative airflow.

To conclude, air circulation doesn't need to be complicated. Always keep in mind that the more efficiently you can move air in and out of the case, the cooler your system will be. Always make sure your fans are facing the right direction and take the time to balance performance and aesthetics 🙂
