Fix the error like Update Apple ID Settings. Let's get started.
Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone from Control Center, swipe on your iPhone to open Control Center and tap Bluetooth. Once you turn on Bluetooth and keep your AirTag near your iPhone, your iPhone will see a settings pop-up.
Otherwise, lock the iPhone and unlock it, then wait to see the settings pop-up on the screen. Press the Connect button. Here I am getting an error with Apple ID Settings option. Tap it.
And your iPhone will see the settings screen. Tap Apple ID Suggestions.
Here is a problem with Apple ID, fix it by re-entering or verifying your Apple ID account password. Tap on the CONTINUE option.
On the next screen, your iPhone will ask you to enter your Apple ID password. and tap Connect. That's it, I'm done. Yet, your iPhone asks you to enter your iPhone lock screen passcode.
However, my iPhone asks to enter my Mac login password. So here you need to read the problem with your Apple ID to solve it.
Once you have verified all account-related actions, the error message disappears.
Go back and lock your iPhone screen, then unlock it again to see the AirTag setup pop-up on the screen.
Go with the connect button and select your AirTag name; here i add a custom name.

Once you're done, click the Continue button and check your Apple ID and password associated with your AirTag for your information.
Press the Continue: Setup button with on-screen instructions. Now AirTag users can track items with the airtag attached using Apple Maps on iPhone or iPad.
When losing an AirTag, the user can also make a sound; The user can also search for an AirTag with the Siri command by saying Hey Siri, Where is my Airtag?
and tap done.

Now the Find My app will see your AirTag location under the Items tab. This is my Find My app.
Visit the Items tab at the bottom of your iPhone.
and see the list of items configured with your Apple ID. Tap on a particular Airtag name and see different options like playing sound by finding my app.
Get directions on maps: notifications and lost mode for a particular AirTag.
