Alexa on your PC is now really useful!

Amazon has made a significant upgrade to the Alexa app for Windows PCs. From now on, you can use your PC or laptop to benefit from most of the features and functions of a full Echo Show device. You can even switch to other Echo devices and make Alexa calls using your webcam.

With this, I was able to turn my 43/" TV screen into a giant Echo Show and make calls to other people with Alexa devices while sitting on my couch. This means you don't have to Need to purchase an Echo device to get the full benefits of the voice assistant and includes the ability to control smart home devices either with your voice or through an on-screen dashboard.
