The Saquarema wave, located in the Itaúna beach district of Rio de Janeiro, is famous for its powerful and consistent break, but Brazil is even more famous for its passionate fandom. The local support for Brazilian athletes is unprecedented, creating a unique atmosphere in surfing. This will challenge Yago Dora, Tatiana Weston-Webb, Italo Ferreira and all the other surfers on tour to take the pressure off and focus on securing a spot in the WSL Final 5.
