video description

It's always been fun to see what kind of Easter egg Google ends up choosing for its next version of Android. In the past we've had some that demonstrated the new features of the operating system, in others we had full mini-games to enjoy. This week the company released Android 13 Beta 3.3 and with that comes the new Easter egg associated with the next stable version of the Android operating system.

This year's Easter Egg for Android highlights various emoji that have been put together to create themed collages.

To get to the Android 13 Easter egg, we first need to dive into the Settings app and then scroll down to the About Phone section.

Tap on the Android Version option here in the list and then we need to tap on the Android Version option at the top 3-5 times in a row. If done correctly, you will be redirected to a page that resembles the Android 12 Easter egg.

The clock we saw last year is here and we can manipulate the minute and hour hands like we could last year.

Except this time, instead of setting the time to noon, we are going to set it to 1:00 p.m. (i.e. 1 hour).
This activates the next phase of the Android 13 Easter egg, but we still need to do one more thing before we see the emoji collages.

Now we just long press anywhere on the screen and it will take us to one of these new images.
And we can cycle through them by long-pressing the screen, over and over again.
