Today we are going to talk about how to allow screen rotation on your Android device so that you can rotate your screen for better viewing.

I wanted to address this topic because I realized that after updating to a beta version of Android or resetting an Android device to factory specs, I need to enable screen rotation again.

Enabling this feature isn't complicated but it's easy to forget about it since we don't have to do it often.

In this video, I will show you three methods to enable screen rotation. Each method is performed on a different phone. For reference, I will list the phone and Android version.

Let's go and let's go!

Method 1 (ZTE Lever Android – 4.4.4)
Click the application tray icon.
Click Settings.
Click Show.
Click on the auto-rotate screen.

Method 2 (Google Pixel 2XL – Android 9 beta)
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen.
Click Settings.
Click Show.
Click advanced.
Click on the auto-rotate screen.

Method 3 (Huawei Nexus 6P – Android 8.1.0)
Swipe right on your home screen.
Click the menu icon in the upper left corner.
Click Settings.
Scroll down to the “Home Screen” section.
Click “Allow Rotation”.

Please take the opportunity to connect and share this video with your friends and family if you find it useful.
