Animal taming and bears! – LEGO Fortnite content update v29.30

LEGO Fortnite just received a new update, and here's everything you need to know about it.

Animals can now be tamed and added to your village. To do this, you will first need to build a barn. Then, once you find the animal you want, pet it and give it an animal treat. Now you'll want to escort him back to your base, but note that if he is attacked by an enemy, he will likely run away. If he is injured, you can treat him using another animal treat.

Once back, assign it to a barn and it will start to occupy one of your villager slots, the number of which has fortunately increased: there are now ten in total, three of which are reserved for villagers, three only for animals and four which can be taken by one or the other.

Make sure to keep your animals happy, otherwise they will leave your village, and if you plan to be gone for a long time, assign one of your villagers to look after them.

Speaking of animals, we have some new ones! These include the pig, which gives you mushrooms when you pet it, and the bear, which I wouldn't recommend petting. There are also new variations of existing animals: brown chickens in the Dry Valley biome, yellow chickens in the grasslands, and different colored cows in all biomes.

As you may have already noticed, the Village Square now has a new user interface. It allows you to quickly see important information, like who is currently visiting, the jobs your villagers are doing, and the happiness level of your animals. Additionally, you can now change your village's banner as well as give it a name.

New paid LEGO sets have also been added to the Item Shop. Starting tomorrow, you can get the Anarchy Acres Bundle, which includes three builds and several decorative items, for 800 V-Bucks or just under $10.

Finally, some bug fixes. Stamina should no longer be enabled in worlds where it has been disabled. Sword and pickaxe damage should be much more consistent. Villagers will not harass you when you regenerate hearts. And sneaking while sprinting won't block you in the sprint.
