I bet I can name an Excel function you've never heard of. Are you ready? It's called "FILES". It's available in all versions of Excel, but not in the conventional way, which I'll get to in a moment. The FILES function lists all files contained in a specified folder and there are many uses for this information. FILES is a legacy Excel 4 macro function. These are very old functions that Microsoft has hidden, but you can still use them if you know how to do it. Don't worry, it's easy and I'll show you how.
