Ashley a self-proclaimed culinary nerd grew up cooking with her Martha Stewart-esque mother and hosted her first three-course dinner at age 10.
Because food always came first she got her first job in a restaurant at age 15. She has worked in the restaurant industry for over twenty years from hostess and waiter to waiter line cook and pastry chef.
After graduating with her MBA in 2015 Ashley founded an online farmers market called The Local Collaborative to help reduce food deserts and help farmers distribute their produce to a wider audience.
