Are all you UK readers familiar with Leon’s restaurants? I bet many of you are. I feel a bit in the dark here. I recently heard about Leon’s fantastically successful destinations while browsing through an Australian food magazine and ordered Leon’s recently released cookbook on the spot. I think we can all agree that it’s a challenge to find natural food cookbooks that are packed with great content and exceptionally well designed. Just wait until you get a glimpse of this one. Written by chef/owner Allegra McEvedy it’s quirky fantastically fun and takes all sorts of liberties with traditional book design. I’m featuring the recipe for Baked Sweet Potato Falafel today but I had a hard time choosing just one. The 300+ page book is packed with the big-hearted bold seasonal spicy food that the cafes are known for.
