I’ve always made French toast the traditional way: dip bread in egg batter and bake when you’re ready to eat. But it’s actually much easier to make it the day before and bake it in the morning. Plus you don’t need a baking sheet and the bread has plenty of time to soak up the pumpkin-y goodness.
The 'batter' consisted of several free-range eggs a generous dash of milk a scoop of pumpkin butter and a good amount of pumpkin pie spices. Finished with brown sugar and done.
