Flavorful and decadent chicken wings are a delicious appetizer for gatherings of family and friends but can also be a fun meal for a weeknight family meal. If you make the sauce with a spicier brand taste it and adjust as needed.

We swapped the deep fryer for the oven to create a simple twist on the classic Buffalo chicken wings that’s just as delicious without the added calories of frying oil. A little added sugar in the sauce and perhaps some cayenne pepper to make them even hotter round out our version of the classic. For a completely authentic experience serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. This recipe yields about 40 wings by the time you cut them into flats and drums. For transport transfer the finished wings to a slow cooker. They’ll stay nice and warm on low.
