Dozens of brands of beef jerky recalled by FDA after listeria found | New York Post

There is an active recall associated with ready-to-eat beef jerky products sold in five states according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). This is because the products were produced without the benefit of federal inspection.

The Hickory Hollow Beef Jerky affected by this recall was sold through retail outlets in Alabama Florida Georgia North Carolina Oklahoma and through Internet sales. Approximately 6229 pounds of product was improperly USDA certified without proper inspection.

The affected flavors of Hickory Hollow brand beef jerky include 2.8-ounce bags of Honey Mustard Bacon Jerky and 3.25-ounce bags of the following: Jamaican Jerked Original Hot Shot Peppered Jalapeno Original Sweet Heat BBQ Macho Nacho Honey Original and Teriyaki. These products have a printed establishment number of "EST. NO. 34550" on the packaging and were sold from January 19 2024 through August 21.
