Your phone is probably your most important blue light emitting device here. You do not believe me ? Here are my best resources on the topic of blue light blocking:

Next, my results from testing blue light levels with a spectrometer, regarding my iPhone! Here are some of my most important resources on blue light exposure:

Melatonin can best be thought of as the “dark hormone.” Melatonin helps you sleep faster, longer and deeper. Essentially, the percentage of deep and REM sleep you get improves. Green light can also be problematic, but less so than blue.
Many apps exist to improve the quality of your sleep, such as Twilight.
Most people still use their phones JUST until they fall asleep. I test normal exposure to blue light as well as Apple night shift mode in this video
(Check out the Gembared article above if you want more technical data!)
With full brightness and no blue light filtering option, I get a huge light peak at 458nm blue light! Green and yellow also have a smaller peak. The blue power density is 3.5 mW/cm2.
Melatonin suppression peaks at 464 nanometers (again, check out the Gembared article)!
Half brightness and same wavelengths? You will still get a peak around 450nm. The irradiance is only much lower than a third. The output power is 1.1 mW/cm2!
True Tone does not reduce exposure to blue light but increases it, paradoxically! You get a little more exposure to green and red light, but no less exposure to blue light!
Then there is the nightshift mode at the lowest setting: 2.9 mW/cm2 with a peak at 458 nanometers! This result surprises me a lot! The blue peak, however, seems a little lower.
Central setting of Nightshift mode: 2.2 mW/cm2 and a peak in the red part of the light spectrum, 619 nm! This improvement is awesome! Exposure to blue light has decreased significantly.
Finally, there's the maximum nighttime shift at maximum settings: another peak at 619nm and blue light exposure decreased even more. The red peak is 3 to 4 times larger than the blue exhibit! The output power is also only 0.6 mW/cm2
At half brightness and with the same settings, the exposure drops to 0.280. Night mode and reduced brightness are a great solution to reduce your exposure!
How to activate night mode? Go to Settings, Display & Brightness. There you will find True Tone and Night Shift modes.
The last hack I wanted to show you? Go to Settings, Accessibility, Display & Text Size, Color Filters, Use Color Tint, then turn the screen red. With this setting, you will have almost no blue or green light! Blue light exposure of 0.1 mW at full brightness! And with lower brightness, your exposure decreases EVEN MORE!
Watch my video on how you can create a shortcut for this setting! With the minimum blue light exposure setting, I don't even need to wear my anti-blue glasses! Watch my video to find out how!

I use the Hopoo Color 0HSP-350F spectrometer – 380-1050nm which can be found here: https://www.hopoocolor.com/product/detail/flicker-test.html
