Windows 10 blue screens can be annoying, they rarely tell you exactly what's wrong, and there may be several solutions to fix them.
Recently I've been having issues with my PC that resulted in what appears to be a fatal blue screen. After restarting, Windows simply won't start and displays an error code 0cx000021a, then quickly shuts down.
Well, after a lot of research, I found out that this particular error is quite common, usually caused by corruption or deletion of one of the 2 files (winlogon.EXE or CSRSS.EXE).
I found several ways to fix this, so let's see how I get on.
The different ways are:
:: Try Startup Repair
:: Try a System Restore
:: Try uninstalling recently installed drivers or reverting to a previous version of Windows
:: Try to repair disk errors with CHK DSK
:: Try System File Checker (sfc)
:: Try to check Windows image files (DISM tool)
:: Try the Reset your PC option to reinstall Windows while keeping your files intact
::Last Resort is a clean install of Windows after formatting the boot drive.
Before this video, I had already tried System Restore, restoring Windows to a previous version, and resetting Windows using the Reset your PC option.
