Have you ever used the gesture navigation feature of Samsung Galaxy devices which has three swipe bars at the bottom. This gave you the option to swipe from the middle of the screen to go home. You can swipe from the left side of the screen to view the recent apps page. And you can swipe from the right side of the screen to activate the back button.

This feature used to be an option we could choose in the Display section of the Settings app.
But with the new OneUI 6.1 update, it seems Samsung removed it by choice.

However, we are able to bring it back using the Good Lock module called NavStar.

Now, if you're not familiar with what the Good Lock app is or how it works, please see the video description below for a link to a dedicated video I've already made that talks about of Good Lock and how to install it. .

Once Good Lock is installed, open it and then look for the module titled NavStar.
You will see a download arrow next to the module and you can install it by tapping on it.

Once installed we can find it at the top of the list here.
And then from there, let's move on to the Swipe Gesture section.

Now we just need to enable the Additional Gestures Settings feature by tapping the corresponding toggle here.
And that's all we have to do.

Once this feature is enabled, we can then return to the Settings app.
Dive into the Display section.
And then tap the menu from the navigation bar.
We need to move on to the Swipe Gestures option, if you haven't already.
And then tap on the More options menu.

This page is normally quite empty as there is only one feature hidden here.
But once you enable the Additional Gesture Settings feature from NavStar, you'll have all these other options to choose from.

And here we can select the Samsung Navigation feature which allows us to swipe up from the bottom to activate the different navigation options.

I suspect Samsung removed this option because very few people were using it.
However, I understand how frustrating it can be to see a feature you like simply removed without notice.
So I at least appreciate that they allowed us to bring the feature back.
