My introduction to chacarero Chilena the Chilean grilled meat and green bean sandwich was at a sandwich shop in Boston’s Downtown Crossing more than 20 years ago during my freshman year of college. The sandwich would become a staple of my lunch menu for the next decade. From what Google tells me the shop is still there (though it appears to have expanded from a street-side window to a sit-down restaurant) but I haven’t had the sandwich there in years.
