MAC stands for Media Access Control and MAC addresses are used to uniquely identify a device on a network. Each device on a network is assigned a dynamic IP address that is mapped to the device's corresponding MAC address using the ARP protocol, allowing devices on the network to communicate with any device on the network of their choice.
In this video, I will show you how to change the MAC address on your Windows and MacOS computer.
To change it on Kali Linux, you can go to “Wireless Settings” and you will find a field that says “Clone MAC Address”, just type the new MAC address and click Apply.
For Android and iOS, many apps claim to change MAC address, but it is easier to change MAC address on your smartphone if it is already rooted (in the case of Android) or jailbroken (in the case of 'an iPhone).
