One-Pan Chicken Fajita Pasta
This family-friendly dinner comes together in just 30 minutes. It’s incredibly creamy and cheesy with tender sautéed onions and peppers and hearty chunks of rotisserie chicken all infused with the comforting familiar flavors of fajita seasoning. While it’s not overly spicy it’s well-seasoned. The slight kick comes from the pepper jack cheese and fajita seasoning.
Many fajita seasoning brands like McCormick contain starch which helps thicken the sauce. However if you are using fajita seasoning without added starch you will need to simmer the sauce for an additional 10 to 15 minutes to reach your desired thickness.
Feel free to use any type of short pasta you prefer: rigatoni cavatappi rotini and others are all suitable options.
