Mudflow Drink Recipe

While the mudslide may taste sweet and innocent it’s almost as strong as a margarita. For example with 80-proof Baileys and Kahlua vodka the alcohol content falls in the 29 percent ABV range (58 proof). Because it’s so tasty it’s easy to overdo it and this one will take you by surprise. Of course if you were to add milk or cream or blend the mudslide it would be much less potent.
You’ll notice a lot of similarities between the mudslide and the white Russian. They’re both tasty vodka lowballs though the mudslide opts for Irish cream instead of your standard dairy cream. This gives it a slightly lighter touch but it’s also a bit more potent. Kahlua is the most commonly used coffee liqueur and Baileys is the popular Irish cream of choice. That said there are great alternatives to both liqueurs.
