I grew up on carbs. A body is good right?
The waffle obsession continued into college. Saturdays were reserved for banana pancakes after a long-distance run. Sundays—a day of total relaxation—were ushered in with two whole-wheat Eggo waffles with a generous dollop of crunchy salted peanut butter sliced banana and honey. It was a breakfast paradise.
Not much has changed these days except that I don't buy waffles from the store anymore. I'm an adult after all.
