COME TO SCOTLAND WITH US! Itinerary, Hikes, What to do/see ETC! Casey Holmes Vlogs
Welcome to our Scotland Vlog. By far one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. It’s incredibly beautiful and worth a visit if you get the chance! I would love to go back in early spring/April or early fall to do it again and see more spots! List of everything we did below! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below!

What I Packed: We went at the end of March and decided to take a few of our lightweight rain coats and some layering pieces! I wore leggings, vests, my hokas and hiking shoes most of the time. We wanted to explore most of the time, so I made sure to bring these comfortable, waterproof clothes. It tends to rain from time to time, so it was best to have a light jacket with a hood. I packed a few outfits for the city, but I brought a pair of my “dressy” sneakers to go with just about everything! I wore jeans and a cute top most of the time.

For makeup, I have a whole reel on Instagram sharing the makeup bag and makeup I took in my carry-on. It was PERFECT for our road trips since I did my makeup most of the time in the car.

I recommend packing a few light outfits in a carry-on and some skin and body travel items in case your luggage gets lost like ours. Mine arrived on the third day and Davis's didn't arrive until the fifth day.

Itinerary:
Landing at Edinburgh Airport
Car Rental Pickup – We drove our own car until we arrived in town, then parked and walked most of the way! FYI, you drive on the left and there are a lot of roundabouts haha
I headed straight to Falkland where the Covenanter Hotel is located (Outlander fans this one for you)
Then we went straight to Inverness to sleep and get ready for the next day (it's about a 3 hour drive)

March 21-23
Inverness:
Saint Andrews Cathedral
Urquhart Castle / Lock
Xoko for breakfast is good in Inverness! Get the cinnamon roll. It's incredible.
Culloden Battlefield – take the tour with the guide! It was short/simple and a great way to learn history.
Clava carins (a short drive after the battlefield) Nice place to see
The arched bridge is located near the Clava carins and offers a nice view.
After that we headed to Dunrobin Castle and unfortunately it was closed! Opened April 1st. a must in my opinion. It's absolutely beautiful.
After that we headed to our hotel on the Isle of Skye:
Skeabost House Hotel

March 23-25
Isle of Skye: (one of my favorite places)
Kilt Rock & Mealt Falls (was closed when we went under construction)
Hiking on the island of Storr
Fairy Pools
Café near the fairy pools: Café Cuil – get the espresso martini! So good
Eileen Donan Castle on the way to Fort William

March 25-26
Fort-Guillaume:
Hotel: Achintore Road
Steall Falls Hike
(I recommend staying here for another night or so! Lots of beautiful hikes to do)
On the way to Edinburgh we stopped at Sterling Castle.

Try to travel from each location during the day. The landscapes are INCREDIBLEEEEE like wow.

March 26-1
Edinburgh:
Hotel: Virgin Hotels Edinburgh – excellent location on Victoria Street
Edinburgh Castle
Lallybrough Castle and Blackness (both are not far from each other and about 35 minutes from the town!)
Ross Foundation
Arthurs Seat Summit
Village of the Deans
Circus alley
