How to Get FREE Stuff at Costco 🔥 #shorts

The Spruce Eats / Abby Mercer

Visiting Costco as all members know is a process. Not just anyone can walk in and buy large quantities of LaCroix and huge blocks of cheese. Upon arrival you must show your membership card to an employee who will then let you into the store. As a long-time Costco member I have never had a problem with this system. It makes sense to screen customers in a membership-based model and I have never had to wait in a long line to get in.

Now admission policies are changing at some stores. According to Instagram account Costco Insider the store next to Costco’s corporate headquarters in Issaquah WA requires members to scan their cards at a kiosk before an employee checks to make sure the photo on the card matches the person holding it. It’s unclear whether other locations will follow suit but as you can imagine the news has spread and Costco fans have pretty good feelings about it.
