When citrus season comes around I just can’t get enough. I always have a half dozen lemons on hand no matter what time of year it is and I eat them regularly. When the sour fruits are in season my supply of lemons limes oranges and the like doubles and triples.
Why on earth do I eat so many lemons? I add a squeeze or two of fresh lemon to almost everything I make. The vibrant tart juice perks up everything it touches and lemon zest adds a freshness that can’t be beat. Whether it’s sweet or savory few things come out of my kitchen without at least a hint of lemon.
