When my boss was in town a few weeks ago we all went for drinks. It was a perfect night. It was late summer and still warm enough not to wear a jacket the service was impeccable the live music was the best I’ve heard in Wichita and the cocktails? A dream.
John ordered a drink with cucumber slices and after one sip I quickly regretted my pinot noir. In fact every time he wanted to talk to my boss I would sneak a few sips. I am a sneaky person.
This recipe is as simple as it gets: gin lime mint cucumber and tonic water. Even a novice bartender can whip this up to the amazement of the guests watching. Plus it’s easily adaptable to everyone’s tastes so you can please even the most finicky palate. For example John likes it sour I like it sweet – bring on the sugar.
