Delete old messages to free up storage space on your Galaxy phone Samsung CA

A quick and easy way to save space is to set your phone to automatically delete old text messages. In the Messages app, tap More options, Settings, then tap More settings. From there, tap the switch next to Delete Old Messages. Your phone will now delete older messages to make room for new ones once you reach 1,000 text messages, 100 multimedia messages, or 5,000 chats.
