This video shows you how to delete protected files in Ubuntu. So when you navigate to a folder that contains a protected file, you cannot delete it because it says you "are not the owner of this file." With Nautilus, this problem is solved. You open a terminal and type: sudo nautilus – Enter – Yor Password. A folder appears and you can browse the file and delete it. Easy!
