When someone asks if they can come over and host a dinner party for you and your friends you say yes. A resounding yes. To be honest I find hosting dinner parties difficult – it’s a LOT of work and at the end of every dinner I always say to Jack “Next time let’s just meet up with friends at a restaurant.” My friend Anna – from The Yellow Table – is a pro though. She’s on a mission to make this “the year of the dinner party.” She just spent a month driving from NYC to LA to host 8 (EIGHT!) dinner parties including a stop at our place last week.
