Discover the new iPhone crash detection feature

Many are wondering if the iPhone's new crash retention feature is too sensitive. Doug Sonders was riding his motorcycle when his iPhone flew off the handlebars. He says the phone sent his emergency contacts an automated text message and called 911. To test the new technology, the Wall Street Journal conducted what it describes as a "not exactly scientific" test. Journalist Joanna Stern says the feature worked as advertised in the moving vehicle, but not in the stationary vehicle.
