A simple practice to avoid having to repair a laptop hinge. This is a great way to avoid a possible costly laptop repair in the near future and keep your laptop in perfect opening and closing condition for many years to come.

Most laptops will have an interior stand or frame holding the screen into the laptop's top cover or screen housing. This stand acts as a stand and is almost always attached in some way to the laptop's interior hinges. When you open and close the computer from the top middle of the screen bezel, you ensure that even pressure is applied and placed on the right and left hinges of the laptop. This will ensure that the hinges last the longest and it is also a very effective practice to avoid damage to the laptop screen. Many laptop screens these days are thin and sensitive to pressure if applied to the wrong places.
