Does adding more RAM in Minecraft increase FPS? (4 GB/8 GB test)

Today I'm coming back to Minecraft to see if adding RAM increases FPS! I'm doing a test of 4GB and 8GB of RAM to see if there are any noticeable performance gains!
(RAM will increase FPS but only marginally, this will be especially useful when using Mods, Shaders and Resource Packs)

MY SPECIFICATIONS:
* i5 8400 (6-core Coffee Lake processor)
* 16 GB DDR4 RAM at 2400 MHz
*GTX 1060 3GB (ASUS)
