Donald Trump's accusations will have "enormous consequences"

Joe Siracusa, dean of Curtin University's Global Futures department, said charging former US President Donald Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records would have "huge consequences".

“This particular belief untied all the ties,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia.

Mr Siracusa said "a number" of Americans were going to "come out of the hills" to vote and show their support for Donald Trump.

“This thing is going to get very strange, very quickly.”
