On a warm summer morning there’s nothing more satisfying than a cold iced coffee and Dunkin’ Donuts has an extensive list of delicious options. Some are made with coffee while others use rich espresso. A few are frozen treats but most are served over ice. At other coffee shops the exact flavor and ratio of drinks can vary from store to store and even from barista to barista but Dunkin’ tends to be very consistent because they use the same method to make their drinks regardless of location. So while there are a handful of states without a Dunkin’ Donuts there are over 13000 locations worldwide so most people can enjoy a refreshing morning pick-me-up.

Nespresso – Unforgettable taste 30'' | LV

I tried out all of Dunkin' iced coffees (plus a few coffee alternatives) to see which ones were great to start our day with and which were just okay. If you're a coffee lover looking to know which options to try from this popular chain for the warm weather check out this list. Keep in mind that coffee preference is often just a personal preference. But with notes on sweetness levels milk options and mixed flavors these recommendations should help you decide which iced coffee will wake up your taste buds in the morning.

Unless you’re a fan of matcha in any form the iced matcha latte with an added shot of espresso is the drink that ranks lowest on the list. I usually enjoy a nicely blended hot matcha latte and the iced version can be great on a really hot day though I have to admit it’s not my go-to order even when made perfectly. The Dunkin’ iced green tea matcha latte tastes both refreshing and earthy but adding espresso muddys the flavor and pushes this drink option to the bottom of the list. The matcha powder can also settle to the bottom and may require some extra stirring for best results.

The matcha latte’s brilliant green is also muted by the addition of espresso. It’s true that unappealing foods can still be delicious but in this case the pea-green hue does the icy drink no favors. Overall this is a decent drink but it doesn’t quite match the jolt of caffeine and espresso in other iced coffees or the cool creamy flavor of an iced matcha latte without the espresso.
