They're gone in a minute! Perfect puff pastry and pastry cream dessert. Ready in 20 minutes!

I told the kids that I would prepare a surprise for them without giving them more details and yesterday when they came home from school and kindergarten they were just blown away by the cuteness of the bunnies but most of all by the taste! I mean they are made of puff pastry and Nutella! What is not to love about this combination?

The bunnies are ready in 30 minutes including baking and all you need is a pack of puff pastry and two to three large spoons of Nutella. Roll out the puff pastry spread Nutella over half of the sheet widthwise overlapping the other half and cut into 2.5 x 30 cm (1 x 12 inch) strips. Roll out the strips place in the baking tin brush with egg sprinkle with granulated sugar and bake for 15-17 minutes at 185 °C/365 °F. For cuteness top with a bunny tail made of whipped cream or mascarpone cream with honey (the same cream you use for the pistachio cake). I can't think of an Easter dessert that is easier to make. So quick and easy to make and it has such a great effect!
