Apple Charlotte is a British dessert made with apples and white bread and baked in a cast iron pan. My version uses a simple cake batter and is just as good if not better. And you don’t need the cast iron pan! Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or at room temperature with a sprinkle of icing sugar.
