Panini sandwiches
Panini those pressed grilled sandwiches packed with delicious ingredients are often (and rightly) thought of as Italian but their popularity is widespread. In Casablanca and other urban areas in Morocco for example you’ll have no trouble finding panini machines for sale along with coffee makers and other kitchen appliances. Supermarkets and bakeries also sell pre-made panini breads that you bake in your oven at home to make sandwiches.
While it’s tempting to opt for the convenience of store-bought sandwiches the taste and texture of homemade panini bread far surpasses the commercial variety. If time permits you can make your own panini.
