Easy Pizza Burgers | Minimalist Baking Recipes

These chickpea burgers are plant-based and easy to make. They only require 10 ingredients and 30 minutes. Let's do this!

Chickpeas are a solid neutral base that provides both fiber and protein. One burger (without bun or toppings) provides over 6 grams of fiber (that's ~20% of the RDI) and almost 8 grams of protein. Chickpeas we love you!

They are gently mashed with a fork or potato masher to create a doughy texture (see photo below). No special kitchen tools are needed! In fact blending can turn chickpeas into a puree which is not the texture we want here.
