Jackfruit does it again creating the perfect flaky fishy texture and chickpeas add a little protein. Not only is the texture perfect but they’re also super flavorful and crunchy thanks to breadcrumbs and a quick pan-fry. This one is NOT to be missed! Only 1 bowl needed. We’ll show you how!

The base for these vegan crab cakes is a blend of young green jackfruit for the shredded texture and chickpeas for the protein boost that makes them a main course.

We added many of the flavors of traditional crab cakes including Old Bay seasoning Worcestershire Dijon mustard lemon juice and parsley. And we also added celery for a subtle crunch and capers for a brine-like element that's similar to seafood.
