Easy Vegan Pizza

HomeCooking Tips, RecipesEasy Vegan Pizza

This easy vegan pizza is loaded with pre-cooked veggies to prevent a soggy crust. Nutritional yeast is a must-have in the vegan pantry. It delivers that familiar rich cheesy flavor that’s the backbone of great pizza. A good pre-made dough adds to the flavor. To prepare the dough for shaping remove it from the plastic bag it came in and place it in a lightly oiled bowl lined with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until it’s no longer cold to the touch.

The EatingWell Test Kitchen is a group of culinary professionals who develop and test our recipes. Our recipes go through a rigorous process that includes testing by trained recipe testers using various equipment (e.g. gas and electric stoves) and a variety of tools and techniques to ensure that it actually works when you make it at home. Testers shop at major grocery stores to research ingredient availability. Finally a registered dietitian reviews each recipe to ensure that we deliver food that is not only delicious but also meets our nutritional guidelines.
