App extensions are part of the app that allows you to perform certain functionality outside of the main app. Application extensions are usually integrated into the main application. How to enable photo app extension shorts?
Step 1) Download the app with built-in app extension from iOS
App store.

Step 2) Open the Photos app
Step 3) Go to photo, press action button
Step 4) Select the app extension, tap on it. The app extension would be opened.
