Best Vegan Cities in Europe
While some of these searches are done out of curiosity a large number of searches for vegan products such as vegan recipes or vegan restaurants near me show a clear preference for or intention to embrace a vegan lifestyle.
Vegan-related Google searches reached record highs in 2018 with a 35% increase over the past few years. Veganism went mainstream in 2018 and Google data backs up this assessment.
According to Google Trends interest in all things vegan in Europe – restaurants recipes dog food vegan blogs – was highest in Bristol followed by Edinburgh Manchester London and Glasgow. Six of the top 30 cities were in the UK six in Germany two in the Netherlands two in Spain and two in Italy.
