Fedora Silverblue is one of the first immutable versions of traditional desktop Linux. But what does that mean? In short, Fedora Silverblue comes with the entire system bundled as one giant component that you replace every time you download a system update (which is also read-only). This is a similar approach to Android, Chromebooks, and macOS. It prevents a single corrupted system file from stopping your entire PC from booting.
